San Francisco: other images and memories

The Opera House

Props, I assume, being wheeled to the stage door

Larry Ellison's super-yacht was somewhat outclassed at the wharf by the smaller 'Senses' owned by Google co-founder Larry Page, with its own helicopter

I went to hear the San Francisco Symphony, conducted by Michael Tilson Thomas, play 'An American in Paris' and other American works

Two successful British brands: Paul Smith and Agent Provocateur

A small demonstration in support of US intervention in Syria

City Hall

The sculptor got the fingers just right...

...to hold that bottle

I've no idea what happened to this man's head

Every morning I had my very healthy breakfast at this lovely cafe. (Except Sunday, which was a fry-up)

Photographing the America's Cup

I made good use of the busses

One of Frank Lloyd Wright's only retail buildings: now an art gallery, in Maiden Lane.

SFPD

Almost everybody working to keep fit

SF Fire Dept

The buses show their support for the 49ers

Typical architecture in a residential street

But after five most enjoyable days its time to leave San Francisco and head back to the coast.
